TRY A CLICHE

A cliche is a word or phrase that is often been overused, look at it from my perspective. You want to do something or carryout out a particular venture, but you are scared, probably because, no one has been recorded to have succeeded in that particular venture you want to undertake, you often get a cold feet as a result of that.
Do no be discouraged, because, a journey of a thousand miles, usually begins with a step, and it takes only one person to break the silence in a quiet room. You have got such a wonderful idea, you should try it out, despite the negative thought that trys to discourage you.
Take your fears and insecurities as your starting point and you never can tell, you can make a history out of your courageous step and be the best you can, regardless of what people are saying  about your ideas and that is your cliche. Something no one can take away from you, and you will be glad you actually took the bold step.

THE YOUTH: OUR FUTURE

There is a proverb that goes; “Train up a child in the right way, so that when he grows of age, he will never depart from it”. Apparently am not a parent, at least not yet, but ever since I was a child, this proverb was practically what I grew up with, hearing it from church sermons every once in a while.
Same goes for reading, learning how to read at a tender age is quite a good practice, when a child grows up that way, it becomes really difficult to depart from reading, thereby providing a guarantee to a bright future for the child as well as a good future for the next generation of the entire world, as the youth and children are our future generation.
Moreover, ignorance is never an excuse and it is never too late to get enlightened and start reading, because I recently saw several survey reports that shows, that the youth of today are been overtaken by the social media and, that not all who are online are doing something academically related.

FEELINGS FOLLOW BEHAVIOUR

Feelings really do follow behavior indeed.  Just as the Bible says; “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh”, that means that, before we say something, we think about it properly and even practice how well we can say it, so that it  makes sense and complement our inner thoughts.
Same goes for feelings, because, often times, whatever we do and the way we behave often complement or go in line with the way we feel.  For instance, when someone, who is well known for his/her cheerfulness, suddenly looks sad and yet claims that everything is fine.  It becomes very easy for the next person around her, to know that all is not well; being that she is always very cheerful.
Nevertheless, the way we act and behave, showcase our inner feelings, whether knowingly or unknowingly, our behavior serves as a mirror through which our hearts and feelings are made known to the people around us, despite the fact that, we do pretend at times to hide our feelings, one way or another it is seen.

SOCIAL MEDIA VS REPUTATION

I would like to start with a recent occurrence, where somebody posted something about her boss on face book and it cost her to lose her job, now we all love the social media, but some people are a little careless with it especially the youth of today.
Sometimes, we forget that, whatever we put up there is at the mercy of the whole world and the reputation we create from the kind of things we say and the nature of pictures we post, are exactly the way people who hardly know us will regard us.
Our social media networks and the things we do with them, shows the world the kind of people we are, so it would be a little better if we care more about our reputation and be mindful of what we put out there, because I see quite a lot than meets the eye on these social networks every day.  Would you rather be callous with your social network at the detriment of your reputation?  The choice is yours!

IT IS BETTER TO PRACTICE A LITTLE THAN TALK A LOT

This title reminds me of when I was growing up, my parents would always tell us, not to say what we cannot do, never to say things that are in contrary to our believes, understanding and capability, to actually talk less and act more, that is like saying; practice what you preach.
Well this title is just as simply and easy as it sounds, because some people talk more than they bargain, and often get themselves into trouble if they are not careful of certain things they say outside, the truth is that, the more you talk, the more you lose track of things you said in the past, thereby contradicting yourself, believes and capabilities.
When you, practice more than you say, you gain wisdom and knowledge, because in the course of doing that, you get to listen to other people talk, thereby learning one thing or two from them, the point is simply, talk less, listen more and act accordingly, after all practice makes perfect.

A LEAP OF JOY

Anderson grabs a lady passing by in a leap for his joyous moment.
A young man graduated from the university, three years later, he is yet to find a decent job, so that he can take care of his family and perhaps give back to his community.  He gets so frustrated, blaming his predicament on faith and maybe nature as well, he has submitted his CV to virtually all the organizations he knows, attended hundreds of interviews but yet to receive a feedback or even a call for any job opening.  He decided to go away to an unknown place to think about his  predicament.
On getting there, his phone rings, just at a time he was about giving up hope and considering suicide as an option, as all hope was lost, he was experiencing some family mishaps and everyone in the family was relying on him to provide for the family at the time, just at that moment did he realise after taking the call that, he just landed a million dollar deal.
Nevertheless, he became so excited and starting celebrating on the road, on his way back home.  That moment when something you least expected happens, no matter where you are, and no matter the people around you, nothing else will matter other than, the joy of your unexpected victory.

WEDDING CAKE – IN – THE – MIDDLE – OF – THE ROAD

Mitchell sitting in the middle of the road in disappointment.
To have a wedding cake in the middle of the road could be a sign that something has gone wrong on a day set aside to be the happiest day of anybody’s life .  Lets say, a bride, fully dressed and on her way to the wedding venue, half way to the venue in the middle of the road, a call comes across that, the groom has decided to call off the wedding.
This could be the most difficult and embarrassing moment for anyone, then the bride decides, she is going to have a wedding in the middle of the road with or without the groom in expression of anger and grief, she could start eating off her wedding cake alone right in the middle of the road.
Nevertheless, that  shows how depressing it could be for anyone in her shoes because, having a wedding cake in the middle of the road outside the wedding venue could either be a good or a bad omen, depending on how you see it and what aspect of life you want to attribute it to.
