How many of us wake up in the morning and just give
thanks to God without asking Him for anything?
I guess not all of us, most of the time; we are caught up in the list of
things we want God to do for us, and practically forgetting that it is apparent
to say thanks to Him all the time.
That we are alive and even able to make that list of
request is by His grace, without his approval, we may not be in the best
position to even make the list in the first place, in as much as it’s important
to be specific with God when you want something, it is also good to put all
that aside sometimes and just give Him thanks for all we have because; he can
see through our hearts and knows exactly what our problems are.
Nevertheless, put God first, forget all your worries
and challenges by waving them aside just to say thanks, and God will know that;
it is really coming from a sincere heart and accept it. There is time for everything; time to give
thanks and time to ask for favors, therefore; do not ask for favors when you
should be giving thanks to your creator.
