Leadership to my
understanding is the ability to direct the affairs of a given group of people
in order to achieve a common goal.
Leadership is a skill one is either born with or an acquired skill as the
case may be, a good leader leads with; humility, obedience, charisma and
patience etc.
Moreover, a person born with
the skill to lead, usually leads with the aforementioned qualities that defines
a good leader and more, this person is usually the people’s choice, take for
example; Nelson Mandela, the way the people celebrate him shows how much of a
good leader he was and still is even at present, one who is not afraid of
making sacrifices and taking risks for the people and always ready to render
selfless service to the people.
Nevertheless, leadership as
a skill can be developed with the right knowledge and understanding, although,
born leaders are still the best because; wherever they are an ordinary person
can spot them out through the charisma they carry along with them even without
knowing it.
