CELL PHONE TEENAGERS

I am assuming that; the primary reason why most parents buy their children cell phones at a tender age is basically to; keep in touch with their children and to be able to communicate with them at any given time, either through phone calls or text messages.

Although, what the teenagers do with their cell phones is really far from the primary reason why they have the cell phone in the first place, most at times when teenagers should be in bed sleeping or doing their homework, they stay glued to their cell phones doing God knows what and texting or chatting with God knows who; thereby drifting away from important things which is basically their education at that stage.

None the less, I am not insinuating that; all teenagers with cell phones drift away, what am trying to say is that; parents should make sure that, in as much as their children are in possession of a cell phone at a tender age, that it is not doing them any harm than good and that it does not distract them from actively participating in their academic work.
